The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Pauli Vineyard is packed with inky dark fruit, blackberry jam, chocolate, licorice, dried herbs, smoke and menthol. Fruit density and tannic heft are all amplified in this dramatic, full-throttle Cabernet from Tobias. I very much like the energy here, and that is needed, as the 2019 is pushed right to the limit of too much of everything.
