Leading with 60% Grenache, then 20% each of Syrah and Mourvèdre, this is an undeniably earthy, savory and complex red—a large percentage of the grapes whole-cluster fermented and foot stomped. Feral notes of barnyard, black pepper and game find their way to a wall of rich, layered strawberry that is boldly ripe. (VB)  (10/2021)

 Solid black cherry and mulled blackberry fruits as well as pepper, orange peel, and leafy herb notes emerge from the 2018 GSM Rossi Ranch Vineyard, a medium-bodied, nicely textured, seamless blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. It shows a solid kick of tannins on the finish but is far from unapproachable, with beautiful balance and length. It should drink well for at least 7-8 years. (JD)  (7/2021)
