96 James Suckling, 94 Points Vinous

The 2018 Carla 6, the Estate's top Sangiovese, is terrific. Like all of the La Massa wines, it is deep fleshy and super expressive. Succulent dark cherry, cedar, tobacco and spice are all kicked up in this beautifully textured wine. The Carla 6 deftly marries power with translucence.
