The village of Ladoix is located in the north of the Côte de Beaune at the foot of the Corton hill facing east–southeast. The Chardonnay grapes are fermented in vats for about 4 weeks, and then the wine is matured in oak barrels for about 15 months.

The 2023 Ladoix Le Clou d'Orge (Domaine Gagey) is one of the sleepers of the range chez Jadot once again, exhibiting aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, white flowers and struck flint, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive palate. 90pts Wine Advocate
