In just under a decade, Sinegal has become one of the rising stars of Napa Valley as well as a critic's darling. The 2019 vintage marks the second release of "Details", a selection of Sonoma County's best hillside terroirs. Owner David Sinegal acquired this historic St. Helena estate in 2013, but it's been planted to vineyards since the 1880s. Veteran grower Jim Barbour tends to the vines while Ryan Knoth, who's worked with David Abreu, Michel Rolland, and Philippe Melka, crafts the wines. The estate is run by Trevor Antognini, who managed such lofty estates as Peter Michael and Sloan. This dream team of winemaking employs traditional farming techniques combined with state-of-the-art winemaking.
