Natural malolactic fermentation which brings complexity to this simply stunning wine which completely overdelivers on the QPR scale. What could easily be mistaken as a village Cote de Beane wine, this is loaded with complex and focused pear and apple fruit, exuding searing acidity that is perfectly balanced by the sandalwood and vanilla from the oak ageing, along with just the right amount of butter notes on the palate. It is crisp, clean and round now, and will only evolve and improve with a few years in the cellar. How many Bourgogne wines can you say that about? Not many!
