My mom used to gather wild raspberries growing in the brambles of our neighborhood’s Michigan creek sides during her morning summer walks. She would gently cradle them into my little hands, coloring my warm palms bright red as I hurried to relish these tiny, tart gifts. This wine reminds of those moments - the eye-popping brightness, the sunshine haloing my mom’s shadow and the pure flavor dissolving on my tongue.

This is a 50/50 blend of the stalwart Grenache Gris clone from Tierra Alta Vineyard and organically farmed Grenache from Kaerskov Ranch in the Los Olivos District. Co-fermented, long and gentle at super cold temperatures in stainless steel, then transferred after 30 days into neutral French oak barrels to buoy its texture and elongate its presence.
