The 2022 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru has a well-defined, precise bouquet that blossoms in the glass and delivers attractive marine scents of oyster shell and sea spray. The palate is well defined with a crisp line of acidity and fine depth, revealing orange cordial mixed with lime and nuances of white pepper. It fans out nicely on the finish whilst upholding Chablis typicité. Excellent. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.
