100% Cabernet, 98cases, Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard

The 2021 Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Cabernet Sauvignon is our second vintage from this famed vineyard. Located on the Oakville/Yountville line, Missouri Hopper was originally part of a large piece of land owned by George C. Yount, the man from whom the town of Yountville takes its name. Charles Hopper later purchased this land and gifted it to his daughter Missouri in 1877. The land was planted to wine grapes along with prunes and walnuts (as much of Napa's land was at that time). In 1960, the land was purchased by Bruce Kelham as part of the historic Vine Hill Ranch until 1996, when Andy Beckstoffer acquired ownership of the vineyard.
