The red 2022 Lalama has a primary nose of bright berry fruit, leaves and a touch of honey and beeswax, with a sleek palate and a soft mouthfeel that makes it moreish and very easy to drink. In the warm 2022 vintage, it achieved higher ripeness, 13.6% alcohol, with a pH of 3.6 and five grams of acidity. It's round and has polished tannins. 77,750 bottles and 540 magnums produced. The 2022 LaLama is 85% Mencía with other red varieties from Ribeira Sacra. This aged for 12 months in 300-liter barrels and foudres. Slightly concentrated, it offers pure fruit and floral aromas, including cherry, plum, violet and a hint of blackberry. This is juicy, intense and plush in texture, with light grip that adds structure and depth. The 2022 is a modern style with a delicate Mencía core. 93 Vinous
