The Lorchhäuser 2023 Seligmacher is clear and savory on the intense and concentrated nose. Dense and very elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense and stimulating but also tightly mineral and still stringent Riesling that will definitely benefit from further bottle age. In fact, this is a classic, crunchy, saline and savory Riesling with a concentrated fruit core and crystalline and nervy quartzite acidity that takes it to a long and intense finish. If you give it 5 or 6 years, you will celebrate it. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024.
