The 2023 Volnay Vieilles Vignes offers up aromas of cherry preserve, sweet berries, orange zest and petals, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, dense and supple palate. As readers may remember, it's derived from vines that see all-day sun and little in the way of breeze and are located in the red clay soils below premier cru Carelles.
