Best Young White Wine of Spain 2024

The Gourmets Wine Guide and the Proensa Guide awarded this fruity and fresh Rías Baixas 94 points. Highly aromatic and clean, dominated by orange blossom and jasmine, with a strong backbone of citrus (grapefruit) and white fruit (apple, pear).  Medium-bodied, fresh, and balanced with high acidity, a creamy or unctuous texture, and a distinct mineral/saline edge.   Long, elegant, and persistent, with the floral and citrus notes remaining prominent.

"The 2023 Albariño Pazo Baión from Salnés in Rías Baixas presents a lightly ripe profile, with apple and tangerine peel aromas showing a subtle reduction and gentle floral note.
