Côteaux Varois en Provence Rose: Grape varieties : 60% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 10% Syrah
The nose is perfectly open, delicate and airy. It presents floral (lilac)
and crisp aromas (grapefruit and pomegranate). Once it opens up,
subtle notes of white pepper and iodine appear. On the palate, the
entry is soft. Then, the wine reveals its flesh and its onctuous texture.
The finish is very aromatic (peach, passionfruit, mango) and long.
Château Trians is a property dating from the 18th century located at the foot of the Pilon St Clement in the Massif of Cuers, 30 kms North of Toulon. The estate covers 49 acres mainly under the appellation Côteaux Varois en Provence. Since the purchase of Trians by Jean-Louis Masurel in 1989, the philosophy of Château Trians has been the utmost respect of nature with traditional methods of culture, limitation of the yield, manual harvest with grape selection. Trians respects the organic principles of viticulture and has been awarded the Ecocert label since 2008.
