'25 Domaine des Cotes Blanches Sancerre

Made from some of the estate's younger vines, Les Côtes Blanches is Nicolas Millet's 'classique' Sancerre - a lifted, expressive style, and the perfect illustration of why Nicolas has been our favourite producer in the appellation for many years. Citrus-fresh on the nose with floral aromas and a distinct verdant character. The palate is what sauvignon blanc is all about - ripe, luscious green apple fruit, perfectly balanced with a flinty edge and bright lemon/lime zestiness - all leading to a pure, pristine finish.
Domaine des Cotes Blanches Description
Located in the village of Bué, 2.5 miles West of Sancerre, Domaine des Côtes Blanches was named after the famous terroir of terres blanches found in the area. Founded in the 1930’s by the Millet family, Nicolas (9th generation winemaker at the property) took over the estate in 2010, pursued its development and extended it to 19.25 hectares of vines planted with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
