Juicy, forward, delicious effort that offers lots of red and black currants, leafy herbs, cedar wood and sous bois. This medium-bodied, charming, moderately concentrated bottling has plenty of fruit, a rounded texture, moderate acidity and ripe tannin, all suggesting it will keep for a decade or more.
Originally named Croix Figeac with roots tracing back to the famed Chateau Figeac, and bordering Cheval blanc, Pierre was renamed in 2013 to honor it's founder.
