"Lots of white peach and sliced green apple with some grapefruit. Medium body. Tangy fruit and a fresh, creamy finish. Two-thirds sauvignon blanc and one-third sauvignon gris."

"Tropical fruits but also white stone fruits too, nuanced nose with pear and white blossom. Lively and zesty with clear orange and lemon juice and rind on the palate giving a sweet, sour and bitter touch which is all nicely complex. I like the texture here, sharp but driving, tense and focused, there is a nice precision and good overall structure."

"The 2021 Château Puygueraud Blanc comes from a 42-hectare vineyard that was originally purchased by George Thienpont in 1946, with the vines largely being replanted in 1970. Today the château is managed by Nicolas Thienpont. The wine is 54% Sauvignon Blanc and 46% Sauvignon Gris, all of which is a selection from 50% of the production, and the aging is occurring all in tank. Displaying the quality of the vintage for the whites, it offers vibrant peach and pineapple fruits as well hints of flowers, medium body, bright, clean acidity, and a great finish. Need a great Bordeaux Blanc to drink on release? Give this a whirl."
