A bright silver/yellow hue, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc includes 20% Semillon, barrel fermented, with a small amount in new Stockinger barrels. It’s ripe and layered in the glass, with an elegant tropical perfume of salted grapefruit, lime oils, mango, and delicate spices. On the palate, it’s focused and compact, with persistent energetic acidity, good length, and a chalky textured finish. It’s a nicely styled Bordeaux Blanc-inspired wine to drink over the next 8-10 years.
